Join co-hosts Priti Patel, MD, CMIO, John Muir Health and James Blum, MD, CHIO, University of Iowa Health, for an interactive Clinical Informatics Affinity Group Dialogue exploring key takeaways from Epic’s XGM and the SI’s AI Symposium and Annual Conference.
Drawing on Priti’s experience at XGM – where leaders shared approaches to optimization, AI integration, automation, and clinician experience – and Jim’s perspectives from SI’s Annual Conference and AI Symposium events focused on advancing AI strategy, governance, and adoption, this session will connect themes across both settings.
Together, these events reflect a shift from exploration to execution—how organizations are improving systems already in place while also building the structures needed to scale AI responsibly. The Dialogue is designed as a peer-to-peer exchange, not a passive webinar. Participants are encouraged to join on camera and microphone, ask questions, and share their own experiences. The discussion will center on what’s proving useful, where organizations are encountering friction, and how clinical informatics leaders are helping move this work forward in practice.
