IT Cost Benchmarking: What Works and What Does Not

Kent Gale, President, KLAS Enterprises, Orem, UT, and Helen V. Thompson, CIO, Heartland Health, St. Joseph, MO, invite you to attend a discussion about benchmarking approaches, including both the value that can be gained and the pitfalls that have been inherent in many benchmarking efforts. The SI benchmarking process, developed by Spectrum Health and maintained for SI by KLAS, is summarized, and the CIO’s perspective is discussed. You may join the SIWebII IT Cost Benchmarking Community prior to the conference to review the existing data and instructions for using it. Before or after this teleconference, you may submit or update your organization’s data. Please email rlevitan@scottsdaleinstitute.org. We will assign an ID number to your organization and provide instructions for entering your data anonymously.
