In a world where many difficult diagnoses and life-altering test results are delivered to patients via their EHR\, how might we better design our systems to truly support our patients and their families? Could a proactively designed and holistically supported diagnosis experience impact patient outcomes? UW Health is currently conducting discovery research with patients and families to better understand their experience in the days and weeks following diagnoses\, and the impact it has on patient outcomes.
