SUMMARY:WEBINAR | How AI-Powered Platforms can Leverage Behavioral Science to ‘Nudge’ Patients to Better Outcomes and Improved Care Management
DESCRIPTION:Prasad Dindigal\, Vice President – Healthcare and Life Sciences\, EXL Health.  As healthcare organizations continue to shift to value-based models\, it is essential that care management protocols are designed to guide patients to optimal outcomes. In the real world of siloed information\, incomplete views of patient experience and lagging indicators\, simply identifying at-risk patients and engaging with them effectively – let alone designing a strategy to change their behaviors – has historically been a challenge. Advances in real-world patient data analytics\, conversational AI and digital engagement strategies have made it possible to execute highly personalized care management strategies that intervene earlier\, engage deeper and nudge patients to the best possible outcomes. Join Prasad and learn how health plans and self-insured employers can use real-world patient data and powerful analytics to drive highly personalized care management programs tailored to their care management strategies.  Prasad shares industry insights on how leveraging AI to analyze patient data and how AI-powered platforms and omni-channel engagement using behavioral science can deliver better outcomes and optimize the care management process to meet each patient’s unique needs.

SUMMARY:WEBINAR | Health Equity - Mitigating Bias Through Inclusive Design
DESCRIPTION:Keisha Taylor\, PhD\, Senior Principal\, and Keshia Trotman\, Senior Consultant\, Korn Ferry. Bias can impact care decisions and influence how we design services and provide care. Mitigating the issue of bias begins with an inclusive design model\, a culturally responsive mindset\, and a data informed methodology. These critical approaches are necessary to substantially move the equity needle in healthcare.

SUMMARY:WEBINAR | Why Climate Resilience is Key to Building the Healthcare Organization of the Future
DESCRIPTION:Elizabeth Baca\, MD\, MPA\, Managing Director\, Deloitte Consulting Strategy and Analytics\, and Jay Sekhon\, Senior Manager\, Deloitte Consulting\, Deloitte.  Climate change has been recognized as the greatest threat to global public health by the medical research community\, exacerbating health inequity and increasing costs of care. While many companies across industries are focused on ESG and looking at ways to reduce environmental impact\, healthcare organizations face the additional challenge of contending with the public health impacts of climate change. This webinar shows that by taking action to mitigate existing impacts\, invest in new technologies\, and pursue new models of business and care delivery\, healthcare leaders can achieve cobenefits for sustainability that can help organizations prepare for climate risks as they emerge.

SUMMARY:DIALOGUE | SI CIO + Clinical Informatics "Reimagining Diagnosis Delivery"
DESCRIPTION:[vc_column_text]Chero Goswami\, CIO\, and Roshelle Ritzenthaler\, Sr Design Strategist\, Digital Health\, UW Health. In a world where many difficult diagnoses and life-altering test results are delivered to patients via their EHR\, how might we better design our systems to truly support our patients and their families? Could a proactively designed and holistically supported diagnosis experience impact patient outcomes? UW Health is currently conducting discovery research with patients and families to better understand their experience in the days and weeks following diagnoses\, and the impact it has on patient outcomes. As a part of this work\, we are fostering conversations within and across health systems to identify opportunities to provide significant value to our patients in a critical life moment.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” wpf_visibility=”loggedin” el_class=”event-presentation” wpf_tags=”347\, 281\, 288″]Presentation \nDialogue Digest[/vc_column_text]

SUMMARY:WEBINAR | How to Use Human Centered Design to Reframe PX and Drive Positive\, Sustainable Change
DESCRIPTION:Joan Kelly\, EdD\, MS Ed\, MBA\, Partner\, Strategic Consulting Services\, Press Ganey. Top-tier healthcare organizations strive to continually improve the patient experience (PX). But the global pandemic has left caregivers burned out and hospitals short staffed. With employees underwater\, your list of improvement goals just grows longer.  Leveraging the principles of human-centered design\, accelerate PX and the employee experience at the same time. Integrating these improvements benefits the patient\, employee\, and organization by embedding changes within workflows instead of layering them on top of existing practices.  This session covers evidenced-based understanding of today’s patient experience; evidence-based principles behind the science of experience; leveraging employee experience and quality of care to drive PX; building workflows that increase patient engagement and satisfaction; and creating experience pathways to drive positive\, tangible change.

SUMMARY:WEBINAR | Principles of Drug Dosing in Patients with Extreme Obesity: One Size Does Not Fit All
DESCRIPTION:Jeffrey Barletta\, BS\, PharmD\, Vice Chair of Pharmacy Practice\, Midwestern University.  Obesity is increasingly prevalent in hospitalized patients\, which presents many challenges for clinicians\, including drug dosing. Drug doses typically do not account for the pharmacokinetic variation that is present with obesity\, and failure to account for this variability can lead to underdosing and treatment failure or overdosing and an adverse effect. This webinar\, tailored towards a multidisciplinary audience\, examines some of the many challenges that exist when crafting and implementing a dosing regimen in this population.
