Bret Shillingstad, MD

Bret is the Executive Director of Optimization Services at Nuance. Bret is a general surgeon who co-founded and ran a Multispecialty Group. He has almost 13 years of Clinical Informatics Leadership experience with Epic as the Director of Clinical Informatics. Dr. Shillingstad’s passion in helping physicians optimally utilize Epic lead him to joining Nuance and advancing our Optimization Services team’s mission of improving outcomes, quality measures, and clinical efficiency for our Epic clients.
