CMIO & CNIO Affinity Group

CMIO – Leading the Way

CMIOs pioneered the EHR era and are now positioned to lead the digital-health revolution. As they assume executive leadership roles on a much wider scope, they face a complex yet exciting array of challenges. SI’s CMIO & CNIO Affinity Group regularly convenes for Dialogue calls and in-person and virtual Summits. Discussion addresses myriad clinical informatics topics, including patient-generated data and the EHR, clinical/EMR governance and equipping the clinician workforce for the future.

CNIO – Compassion in Action

CNIOs are charged with integrating IT, patient care and engagement in ways not previously achieved. SI’s Affinity Group meet in person, virtually and via Dialogue calls and Summits to discuss clinical transformation, accountable care, community health, EHR optimization, data analytics and more.

If you want to know what your peers are doing and thinking right now, join SI’s CMIO & CNIO Affinity Group MS Teams site to facilitate ongoing, ad hoc, open discussion and collaboration among the CMIO peer group.

"Every time I meet with this CMIO group, I get a list of about twenty ideas—everything from reports to create, to ways to streamline processes."
Becky Fox, MSN, RN-BC

"It’s hard not to be inspired, hearing so many stories and examples of strong leaders, forging the way. I’m confident that although 2020 may have been known as the Year of the Nurse, it soon will become the beginning of the DECADE of the Nurse—and clinical informaticists will continue to lead the way. Thank you, Scottsdale Institute, for continuing to bring together programs with dynamic leaders, to share, inspire and challenge each other."
