Massachusetts Technology Collaborative Implements CPOE in Massachusetts Hospitals

Mitch Adams, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, Boston, MA, describes a unique program in which providers, payers and employers are working together to re-engineer reimbursement mechanisms so that providers will share in the savings attributable to the use of CPOE. The program will fund CPOE for all hospitals in the state as a result.
