Trinity Health: Clinical Repository Helps Win NCQHC Award

Paul Conlon, VP for Clinical Quality and Patient Safety, Trinity Health, Novi, MI, provides an overview of the system wide approach to deploying best practices, emphasizing the clinical IT tools that support this process (I2S2). As the winner of the National Committee for Quality Health Care’s 2004 Annual Award, I2S2 helped Trinity demonstrate outstanding performance against the criteria of Leadership, Patient Centered Practices, Short and Long Term Strategic Planning, Innovative Informatics and Use of New Technologies, Science-based Performance Evaluation, Building a Committed Workforce, Financial Management, and Community Health.
