WEBINAR | Community Health Improvement Efforts Addressing the Pandemic’s Impact among the Underserved Segments of the Community – Texas Health Resources’ Journey toward Health Equity

As the ED and ICU beds at Texas Health Resources hospitals filled with COVID patients in late 2020, it became clear that the coronavirus was disproportionately impacting Black and Hispanic people in our community. As the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine became available, the Community Health Improvement Division at Texas Health Resources developed and implemented a vaccine delivery strategy to assure equitable availability to the underserved segments of the community. The journey, best practices and lessons learned are shared during this webinar.
