Discussion Host(s):

Robert Forsberg, VP, Enterprise Analytics, Mass General Brigham
Rev Sellappan, VP, Analytics, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Questions to consider:

  • How is your data and analytics program an accelerant or inhibitor to digital transformation? What are the program’s strengths and weaknesses?
  • Who in your organization is responsible and accountable for the performance and use of data and analytics? Do you have an executive leader over DnA functions? Are there senior executives involved in program governance efforts or conspicuous absences?
  • How is your data management strategy working? Do you have single data repository (warehouse, lake, lake house, etc.) or are there multiple? Does your organization have a cohesive and comprehensive data governance model with a focus on information governance, access, security, etc.? Who chooses what DnA applications and tools people will use – is that a central or localized decision?
  • How would you evaluate your organization on data and analytics fluency? Are your users getting the right information at the right time and in the right format? How collaborative are your DnA teams with their internal customers and partners?
  • As you accelerate AI efforts, is the data quality creating trust and business value?
