November 7, 2024, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm CST

Alexander Baker, Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology presents a deep dive look into the Final Rule that became effective July 31, 2024 that establishes “disincentives” for health care providers who knowingly and unreasonably interfere with the access, exchange, or use of electronic health information (EHI) except as required by law or covered by a regulatory exception. This final rule establishes disincentives for certain health care providers (as defined in 45 CFR 171.102) under three programs: the Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program, Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), and Medicare Shared Savings Program. Join us for this important learning opportunity about the details of this final rule!
