Peter Stetson, MD, MA, Chief Health Informatics Officer at MSK focuses on real-world governance of AI in oncology. He reports on their AI Governance Committee’s 1-year experience and lessons learned registering, evaluating, and monitoring 26 AI models (including large language models, two ambient AI pilots, and a review of 33 live nomograms). Dr. Stetson reviews some specific case studies of build vs. buy AI models.
