Member Liaison Resources

The Member Liaison Role is a Member Point-of-Contact that promotes SI’s educational opportunities internally and ensures associates Create a Profile and  Sign-up for Affinity Groups to maximize the value your organization receives from its SI Membership.

SI provides in-depth education across a variety of IT, Strategy and Operational topics. Your SI membership allows unlimited access for an unlimited number of users. 

Below are ideas for the Member Liaison in your organization to boost the engagement of your team members and optimize the value received from your SI membership.

  • Ensure team members Create an SI Member Profile and sign up for interest areas
  • Share internally the collaboration and networking opportunities by joining and signing up for SI’s:
  • Create awareness of the unlimited educational Webinars and archived content. Note: Webinars are available to ALL team members.
  • Communicate that ACHE Qualified Education Credits can be earned
  • Send an email to your associates to communicate SIs many educational, collaboration and networking opportunities
  • Place an article in your organization’s Newsletter and/or Intranet site to communicate SI benefits
  • Forward upcoming SI events to your team, with a link to register
  • Add SI as a standing agenda item at staff meetings
  • Tell us what you’d like to hear about in future Webinars by suggesting topics/speakers
  • Ensure there is a commitment from management to take advantage of SIs educational opportunities; some of our members incorporate SI webinar participation in their associate’s annual performance goal setting process and onboarding of new team members

ACHE Qualified Education

  • Scottsdale Institute now offers the ability to earn American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Qualified Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation. SI’s current educational content of Webinars, Fireside Chats, Summits, and Conferences qualify for continuing education (CE) credits. At this time Dialogues do not qualify.
  • Select from a variety of eligible healthcare events and self-report your participation on your MyACHE page.
    • Hour-long Webinars and Fireside Chats equal 1 CE credit.
    • CE credits vary for Summits, Roundtables and Conferences. Refer to the corresponding event page for the number of qualifying credits.

IT Benchmarking Tool

Participate in high-level IT-cost comparisons with other organizations including one-on-one comparisons, and an organization chart library that is available to participants. 

  • Unique to healthcare delivery 
  • Not industry-wide averages 
  • No charge to participate other than sharing your data 
  • Allows members to compare IT Spend against like-sized healthcare systems 
  • Measures IT costs as a % of Total Revenue and by Size (FTEs/Number of end users) 
  • Ad hoc queries available to participants
