SUMMIT and SITE VISIT | 2023 Clinical Informatics—Informatics Governance: From Structures to Workflows

June 28, 2023, 8:00 am - June 29, 2023, 2:00 pm CDT

Informatics Governance: From Structures to Workflows

How is your health system implementing the necessary governance to guide responsibilities, goals, structures and workflows? Join a select group of your Clinical Informatics Affinity Group peers for Scottsdale Institute’s 2023 In-Person Summit, Informatics Governance: From Structures to Workflows, sponsored by Microsoft. Thank you MetroHealth for hosting this Summit and Site Visit.

June 28-29, 2023

The Center for Health Affairs and CHAMPS

1226 Huron Rd E, Cleveland, OH 44115

Overview

Around their many other responsibilities, Clinical Informatics professionals are tasked with envisioning, developing and adhering to their organizations’ governance to guide everything from responsibilities to goals, and structures to workflows. During our time together, we’ll discuss the plans and challenges around:

  • Informatics Governance Structures – Maturity Framework: Structuring governance, designing for scalability and operationalizing new care model strategies with governance, training and workflows
  • Informatics’ Role in Today’s Health System: Understanding changing expectations around CMIO/CNIO roles; addressing the use of predictive models, data quality, equity issues, etc., in those roles; and incorporating technology innovations
  • Informatics Structures: Developing and utilizing new structures, automation and genomics applications; and dovetailing new care venues, virtual care and clinical services into existing informatics structures
  • Roadmap – What’s Next: Studying the tools, processes and structures for future use; dissecting lessons learned and promoting leading practices

This event is eligible for ACHE Qualified Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation. Learn more ››
