Micky Tripathi, PhD, MPP, National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, provides updates on the recent and current work to enable a 21st Century digital healthcare system. This includes current policy and technical efforts to improve information sharing and innovation in health care delivery, public health, and medical research. Plus, a look at what lies ahead for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT as it aligns federal health IT activities and works to fulfill a vision of better health enabled by data.
