Recently, David was alerted to suspicious controlled substance refill attempts using a colleague’s details. Fortunately, the pharmacist noticed the provider’s phone number didn’t match previous records and the attempts were blocked.

Cyber security concerns were addressed and goals were proposed for addressing them. Tech trends included the use of devices and sensors, the shift to cloud and analytics, and consumerism/convenience.
